| Sat Nam Dear Infinite Being ,
So many times we take jobs because of the money and think that we will be prosperous, but it turns out not to be so. We often forget that our work is our expression of the divine and therefore should always be thought of as spiritual. Then no matter what the job, you will never go to work.
"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life..."
Prosperity: It may not be what you used to think it is, being prosperous is being healthy,
or it may be to have a joyful spirit and a calm mind even when you are ill.
Prosperity is when you can smile in the mirror, feeling fulfilled with your work, your family, your service to others. Prosperity is to be able to sacrifice immediate satisfaction for a higher and long lasting purpose and results. Prosperity is not collecting relationships but mastering the ones you have, making them True relationships, or I should say- relationships based in Truth, especially with your spouse and closest people in your life, with those you relate to on a daily basis.
Our culture has the tendency to isolate work from spirit, business from Infinity. We believe as yogis that the Infinite Creative Power is within us at all times. So how is it possible for us to come to our work without the Divinity being present? If we are present, the Infinite Creative Power is present. This makes everything we do a spiritual undertaking. It all depends on how we bring ourselves to the task. Do we bring our wholeness, or not? Through wholeness, we bring an energy field that affects all we do."
Some wise man said- "Begin to think of your work as your calling. The creative process is calling, singing its song in you and as you. However it is not your song but the will of Him who sent you. So the work becomes easy and fulfilling, and you become prosperous and successful in it."
Prosperity is also to develop a non-reactive mind- a meditative mind- a neutral mind.
Guru Singh tell us that dealing with your emotions is "key". He goes on to say, "What if the next time you have an emotionally painful experience, you do not run away from it? What if, by not avoiding this event, you actually have the experience of the experience of the event? What if, by consciously breathing during this experience of the event, you calm yourself?
What if, within this calm, you reduce all reference to "other" . . . another cause as the cause; the sensation as something other than you; another time without this sensation; another person as the cause of this sensation . . . what if? What would it be like if this externalizing was not the dominant pattern in your psyche?
This would be the outskirts of the suburbs of the village of your liberation. This would be the gateway to your freedom. This would be the path to the castle of your prosperity and fulfillment and all the pain and reference to other is the moat of your pain surrounding it.
Dive into the moat . . . swim through your pain . . . cross over it and reach your castle. This castle contains your purpose, your fulfillment and all that you have been living for. It has always been here with you . . . waiting for you to awaken.
Welcome to the new evolution. You are one of the early pioneers."
It is always how you think and look at life that expresses as your life. Start today to consciously be aware of your thoughts and words to create the prosperous life you desire.
Join me this Saturday, May 15th @ Yogadesha for a 3 hour course with an approach to allow you to quickly and concisely become aware of your own inner ability to become prosperous physically, mentally and spiritually. Remember always..."the time is now and now is the time..."
Words of Wisdom:
"Prosperity is within us, it keeps us alive. Prosperity is a must. Those who want to be prosperous must make others prosperous."
Yogi Bhajan~
"When you work in the right consciousness, when your work becomes organically a part of your whole self, when you work out of that commitment, no matter what other people do, no matter what the compensation may be, doing it for the health of your own soul, then you open the door by which the affluence of the Universe flows forth into your life." Eric Butterworth
"The true object of all work is to express the powers of one's being and to benefit mankind." Charles Fillmore
"It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop." Confucius
"I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." Confucius
"To be able under all circumstances to practice five things constitutes perfect virtue; these five things are gravity, generosity of soul, sincerity, earnestness and kindness." Confucius
"If you think you are poor you are poor because you do not communicate with your soul - the source of prosperity, the source of reality." Yogi Bhajan~

Guru Mantra of Guru Ram Das
Guru Guru Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru
Wise, wise is the one who serves infinity.
Mantra: Guroo Guroo Wha-hay Guroo Guroo Ram Das Guroo
Posture: Sit in easy pose with your hands in Gyan Mudra. Close your eyes and meditate at the brow point. Repeat the mantra in a monotone or sing along with a musical version.
Time: You can practice this meditation for any amount of time. Start with 3 minutes and work up to 62 minutes or even 2½ hours.
Comments: This is a mantra of humility, relaxation, self-healing and emotional relief. It calls on the spirit of humility and grace of the realm of Guru Ram Das, with its spiritual guiding light and protective grace. It reconnects the experience of infinity to the finite, and therefore rescues you in the midst of trial and danger.
The first part, Guroo Guroo Wha-hay Guroo is a nirgun mantra (nirgun means without any qualities) - one which vibrates only to infinity, having no actual finite components. It projects the mind to the source of knowledge and ecstasy. The second part, Guroo Ram Das Guroo is a sirgun mantra (sirgun means with form). It therefore projects the mind to infinity and then gives a finite guiding relationship on a practical level.
Yogi Bhajan considered this mantra to be his personal mantra and it was given to Yogi Bhajan by Guru Ram Das in his astral self.
